The 110V 16A PAT Adaptor Kit features two adaptors which allow the user to carry out testing on 110V appliances and extension leads which are typically used in the construction industry.
The first adaptor converts a 110V 16A socket to 230V 13A plug which facilitates earth bond continuity testing and insulation resistance testing on appliances. It is specifically designed for earth bond and continuity tests whilst the short 30cm length minimises resistance. It is universally compatible, but it cannot be used for load/leakage or touch current tests and must never be connected to a mains socket.
The second adaptor works in conjunction with the first to test 110V extension leads. It converts a 110V 16A plug to an IEC socket and is also suitable for earth bond continuity and insulation testing. A universally compatible adaptor, it is just 30cm long, thus minimising resistance.
