The 230V 16A Appliance Adaptor can work with any PAT tester to carry out earth bond continuity tests and insulation resistance tests on 230V 16A appliances. The 30cm cable minimises resistance for greater accuracy and the adaptor converts a 230V 16A socket to a 230V 13A plug. It should not be connected to a mains socket but it can be used for load/leakage tests and touch current tests (up to 13A).
