The 230V 16A Extension Lead Adaptor converts an 230V 16A plug to an IEC socket, thus allowing earth bond testing, insulation testing and polarity checking on industrial extension leads when used in conjunction with a 230V 16A appliance adaptor. The adaptor has a short 30cm lead to minimise resistance during tests and is compatible with any PAT tester. It should never be plugged into a mains socket.
