This 230V 16A PAT Adaptor Kit features two PAT adaptors that can be used to test 230V 16A industrial appliances and extension leads. Both adaptors are suitable for performing earth bond tests and insulation resistance tests with any PAT tester and have a short 30cm connecting cable which minimises resistance, thus increasing accuracy. Neither should ever be connected to a mains socket but they are suitable for load/leakage testing and touch current measurement (up to 13A).
The first adaptor converts a 16A 230V socket to a 230V 13A plug, thus enabling testing of appliances. The second adaptor, which converts a 230V 16A plug to an IEC socket, must be used together with the first in order to test 230V 16A extension leads.
