Description

The Fluke 6500-2 PAT Tester is a sophisticated appliance tester that can perform earth bond tests, insulation tests, leakage current tests, load & run testing, portable RCD testing (current & trip time) and polarity checking. These capabilities make the tester suitable for use on Class I and Class II appliances as well as extension leads.

Clearly-labelled buttons mean that the Fluke 6500-2 is very easy to use. It has automated test sequences for different appliance types and is also capable of manual testing. Test readings and PASS/FAIL indications are shown on the backlit digital screen and these results are also saved to the PAT tester’s internal memory (max. 1000 results). It is possible to transfer data to a PC and there is a full QWERTY keyboard for swift data entry.

The Fluke 6500-2 comes in five different kits which feature a range of useful accessories. These include PAT adaptors for 110V appliances and extension leads, different software packages, a socket tester, and a microwave leakage detector. Furthermore, there are options for a barcode scanner and/or Fluke SP6000 PAT mini printer.
