The Kewtech SMARTPAT PAT Tester is the premium tester in the Kewtech range with a range of sophisticated test functions including 230V load & run testing, portable RCD testing and an extended earth bond continuity test. This is in addition to standard PAT tests such as earth bond continuity testing, insulation resistance testing, polarity checking, and substitute leakage measurement.

One of the most important features of the Kewtech SMARTPAT is its Bluetooth connectivity. This allows it to communicate wirelessly with the KEWPAT App when installed on an Android smartphone. The app can be used to control the tester remotely and even to create personalised test sequences. Test results can be stored in the tester’s internal memory or to a smartphone memory and are also shown alongside a clear PASS/FAIL indication on the large digital screen.

The Kewtech SMARTPAT Pro Kit contains a range of useful accessories that complement the tester. Firstly, a set of 110V adaptors allow testing, including powered tests, on leads and power tools used in construction. An IEC clover leaf adaptor facilitates testing on leads used with AV and It equipment. Additionally, a KEW80-L PAT label printer can communicate wirelessly with the SMARTPAT to produce customised, barcoded PAT labels. Finally, there is also a socket tester and a carry case.
