The Megger PAT420 PAT Tester is a sophisticated tester with powerful testing capabilities and a large internal memory. It has high-current earth bond testing (10A, 25A), IT-safe earth bond testing (200mA), 250V/500V insulation resistance testing, substitute/differential/touch leakage current measurement, load & run testing, polarity checking, fuse testing and portable RCD testing. The inbuilt 110V socket allows testing on power tools and other equipment without the need for an adaptor.
The large internal memory of the Megger PAT420 has space for up to 10,000 result sets and the large QWERTY keyboard is useful for adding extra detail. It has both a manual and automatic test mode with sequences for Class I and Class II appliances and extension leads and the user can adjust the PASS/FAIL limits to compensate for different appliance types. The memory is downloadable via the USB port and results can also be recalled on the large digital display.
The Megger PAT420 is available in four different kits. Each one includes PAT labels, a 110V extension lead adaptor, an IEC adaptor kit, and a carry case whilst options are available that include different software packages, a Megger PAT label printer, a barcode scanner and a microwave leakage detector. Additionally the Megger PAT420 Industrial PAT Testing Kit includes a 110V Adaptor Set, 230V Adaptor Set, 415V 4-Pin Adaptor Set and 415V 5-Pin Adaptor Set.
