Description

The Megger PAT450 PAT Tester is the premium tester in the Megger range, boasting highly advanced testing capabilities, smart functionality and additional practical features. It can perform earth bond testing with a range of currents, insulation testing, substitute/differential/touch leakage measurement, portable RCD testing, extension lead testing, fuse testing, and load & run testing so it is a truly comprehensive tester for appliances and leads. Additionally, it can perform 1.5kV and 3kV flash testing which makes it suitable for use in manufacturing facilities and repair shops.

The complete onboard database can save up to 10,000 with accompanying information about the appliance, site and location of the test. The Megger PAT450’s handy QWERTY keyboard allows the user to enter this information quickly and easily. Data download to a PC is possible via the USB port whilst readings can also be recalled to the screen. The vibrant colour display shows numerical readings alongside PASS/FAIL results that follow user-adjustable limits.

Practicality is an important feature of the design of the Megger PAT450. Individual test buttons initiate the most common tests and it the user can set their own customised automatic test sequences. Furthermore, there is an inbuilt 110V test socket that can be used to test power tools and other industrial equipment without needing an adaptor.
