The Metrel DeltaPAT BT PAT Tester is a mains- and battery-powered PAT tester that can perform 200mA earth bond tests, 250V/500V insulation resistance tests and polarity checking which enables testing on Class I and Class II appliances and extension leads. Other possible tests include substitute and differential leakage current measurement and the user also benefits from PRCD technology that prevents mains RCDs from tripping under test.
The sleek, compact design of the Metrel DeltaPAT incorporates specific inputs for testing fixed appliances. Results are shown alongside a clear PASS/FAIL indication. Operation can be carried out using the tester’s clearly-labelled buttons or through an Android smartphone thanks to the wireless Bluetooth connectivity.
This allows a user to exercise remote control over the unit and appliance data can be entered into the internal memory using the app. It has enough room for 1500 results and the tester is compatible with optional Metrel PATLink Pro software which can be used for reporting data. The Metrel DeltaPAT is therefore suitable for high-volume testing.
