The Metrel GammaPAT Lite PAT Tester is compact, portable tester that benefits from an inbuilt calibration checkbox that can verify the ongoing accuracy of the tester from one calibration to the next.
The tester has a simple mode whereby the user selects a pre-set auto test sequence for the item under test, according to whether it is a Class I or Class II appliance or a lead. Auto mode requires more information but is suitable for testing appliances with long leads or long extension leads. The Metrel GammaPAT Lite is therefore suitable for low- to mid-volume testing in domestic and commercial settings.
The Metrel GammaPAT Lite has a clear digital screen that shows test results and a clear PASS/FAIL indication for every test is displayed on screen and via two LEDs. It has a rechargeable battery and internal memory for up to 1700 results although a separate software package must be purchased in order to download these to a PC.
