The Metrel OmegaPAT Plus PAT Tester is an advanced tester with functions including 100mA, 4A, 10A and 25A earth bond continuity testing; 250V or 500V insulation testing; substitute, touch or differential leakage current testing; load & run testing; polarity checking; portable RCD testing; and a 1.5kV/3kV flash test. It has both 230V and 110V test sockets and is suitable for Class I and Class II appliances and IEC extension leads. With numerous testing functions, the tester can be used in commercial and industrial properties as well as in repair shops and production lines.
PASS/FAIL indications and numerical test results are shown alongside one another on the Metrel OmegaPAT Plus’ backlit digital display. The tester has over 100 pre-set automatic test sequences and the user can add a further 50 customised sequences. It is also possible to carry out manual testing via the push-button interface. There is a large internal memory for test results and a full QWERTY keyboard enables swift data entry. It is possible to download data to a PC for further analysis and reporting.
There are two different kits for the Metrel OmegaPAT Plus. Kit A has Metrel PATLink Pro software, a barcode scanner, 1000 appliance labels, a microwave leakage detector, IEC adaptors, PAT labels and a 230V extension lead adaptor. Kit B has the same accessories except the software package provided is Metrel PATLinks Pro PLUS and there is also a 110V extension lead.
