The Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester is the top-of-the-range Seaward tester that has multiple useful features that complement the advanced testing functions. It can perform standard tests including earth bond continuity, insulation resistance, leakage/touch current measurement and polarity checking in addition to more advanced functions such as load & run testing, alternative leakage current measurement, power socket tests and portable RCD testing. This makes it suitable for Class I and Class II appliances and extension leads as well as three-phase equipment and fixed appliances.
Operation of the Seaward Apollo 600+ is carried out through the intuitive, user-friendly interface and simple navigation buttons. This allows the user to access individual tests or initiate automated test sequences (100 pre-set options). The large colour screen clearly shows PASS/FAIL indications alongside numerical test results and also displays archived readings saved to the large internal memory.
An additional feature of the Seaward Apollo 600+ is its integrated digital camera. The user can take photographs using the tester and pair these up with appliance information and test results in the onboard database. Up to 50,000 results can be saved to the downloadable memory alongside 2000 photographs for a truly comprehensive testing record. The full QWERTY keyboard allows swift data entry when adding additional details to records and the tester has both USB and Bluetooth connectivity.
Advanced firmware on the Seaward Apollo 600+ allows it to perform a risk-based assessment of an appropriate future test date as well as producing universal risk assessments and health & safety certificates. When connected to a Seaward Test n Tag Elite 2 Printer and Seaward QR & Barcode Scanner, the tester is capable of producing and reading QR-coded customised PAT labels. QR codes allow customers to scan a label with their smartphone in order to view up-to-date test information.
