The Seaward Primetest 50 PAC Checker is a portable, battery-powered instrument designed for low-volume testing duties in domestic and commercial environments. It is capable of testing Class I and Class II appliances and extension leads at the push of a button.
The Seaward Primetest 50 tests earth bond continuity, insulation and leakage current to pre-set pass and fail limits before providing a PASS/FAIL indication. As no actual readings are provided, the checker is unsuitable for testing long extension leads.
Additionally, the user can download the Seaward PATMobile App for free to an iOS or Android device and this can be used to store results in an organised database alongside pictures from the devices camera. It is also possible to export reports from the app.
The Seaward Primetest 50 is suitable for a various items of office equipment such as PCs, printers, fax machines and kitchen equipment, and is ideal for novice testing operatives thanks to its simplicity and portability.
